Eggnog Sticks

  1. Mix dry ingredients.
  2. In another bowl, cream the butter, gradually add sugar, egg, vanilla, and rum.
  3. Gradually add in dry ingredients until mixed.
  4. Shape dough into 1/2 inch diameter rolls, and cut into 2 inch lengths.
  5. Bake at 350u0b0 for 12-15 minutes, and promptly remove to cooling rack.
  6. For frosting: Mix all frosting ingredients, and frost cookies.
  7. To finish, top with generous dusting of nutmeg.
