Fruited Chocolate Trifle

  1. Cut cake into 1 inch cubes; set aside.
  2. In small bowl, combine milk and pudding mix; beat a low speed 1 to 2 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes to thicken.
  3. fold 1 1/2 cups of the whipped cream into pudding.
  4. Spoon about 1/3 of the pudding mixture into bottom of 2 1/2-quart straight-sided glass serving bowl.
  5. Add 1/3 of the fruits and 1/3 of the cake cubes.
  6. Repeat layers two more times.
  7. Pipe or dollop remaining whipped cream over top layer of cake cubes.
  8. Garnish with sliced almonds and strawberries.
  9. Store in refrigerator.
