Chicken Tortellini Soup
- 9 oz. pkg. frozen cut broccoli
- 3 (10 3/4 oz.) condensed chicken broth
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
- 2 c. cooked cubed chicken
- 1 c. sliced carrots
- 1/2 tsp. basil leaves
- 1 (7 to 12 oz.) pkg. cheese tortellini
- 6 c. water
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
- grated Parmesan (if desired)
- In large saucepot, combine water, chicken broth, soup, chicken, onions, carrots, garlic, basil and oregano.
- Bring to a boil; add tortellini.
- Simmer, uncovered, for 25 to 30 minutes. Add broccoli.
- Simmer an additional 5 to 10 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
- Serve with cheese.
- Makes 30 (1 1/2 cup servings).
