Fruit Cake

  1. Mix together raisins, dates, nuts, candied fruit, molasses and juice.
  2. Cream together butter or oleo and sugar.
  3. Add eggs one at a time; beat well after each addition.
  4. Sift dry ingredients.
  5. Mix eggs, sugar and butter mixture into fruit mixture.
  6. Add dry ingredients.
  7. Line 2 tube or loaf pans with aluminum foil; grease well.
  8. Bake at 275u0b0 for 2 1/2 hours.
  9. Place shallow pan of water on lower shelf.
