Autumn Pork Chop Dinner
- 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 2 loin chops (1-inch thick)
- 2 c. shredded cabbage
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced 1/4-inch thick
- 1 c. fresh or frozen green beans
- 1 to 1 1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
- 3/4 c. apple juice
- 1/4 c. seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- In a large skillet, heat oil on high.
- Brown chops on both sides.
- Remove and set aside.
- Toss cabbage with parsley and brown sugar.
- Place in an 11 x 7 x 2-inch baking dish.
- Top with potatoes and beans.
- Arrange chops over.
- Sprinkle with lemon pepper.
- Pour apple juice over all.
- Cover and bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes or until the pork chops and vegetables are tender.
