Dude'S Party Mix
- 1 box Wheat Chex (15 oz.)
- 1 box Rice Chex (12 oz.)
- 1 box Corn Chex (12 oz.)
- 1 box Cheerios (10 oz.)
- 1 box pretzel sticks (10 oz.)
- 2 c. peanuts (salted)
- 2 c. pecans halves
- 2 c. cashews
- 1 c. bacon drippings
- 1 stick butter
- 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. garlic salt
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Tabasco sauce
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- Place first 8 ingredients in a large plastic bag and tumble until thoroughly mixed.
- In a saucepan, mix remaining ingredients. Bring to boil and set aside until warm.
- Dribble sauce mixture over cereals while continuing to tumble in the plastic bag.
- Continue tumbling until all cereal is coated.
- Taste and add more seasoning here to taste.
- I add more garlic salt and cayenne.
- Bake in small quantities at 225u0b0 for 1 hour.
- Use shallow broiling pan approximately 2-inches deep and leave space so the mixture can be stirred or shaken frequently to prevent burning.
- Save the cereal boxes to store mix.
