Chicken Surprise

  1. Cook noodles until tender in large amount of boiling water. Drain; rinse in cold water.
  2. Saute onions and green peppers in oleo.
  3. Stir in one can cream of mushroom soup, milk, pimento and basil.
  4. To layer, place half of noodles in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
  5. Cover with half of the sauce, cottage cheese, chicken and cheese.
  6. Repeat layers with the other half of each.
  7. Bake in 350u0b0 oven 35 minutes to 1 hour.
  8. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
