Cold Oven Pound Cake

  1. Cream well butter, Crisco and margarine.
  2. Add sugar, cream thoroughly.
  3. Add eggs (one at a time), beat 1 minute after each egg. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
  4. Add alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour.
  5. Add flavoring (can be added to milk).
  6. Pour mixture into greased and floured tube pan. Put in cold oven.
  7. Bake a little more than an hour at 300u0b0 to 325u0b0.
  8. Wrap cake in Saran Wrap while still warm.
  9. Happy eating.
