Spaghetti Amore
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1/4 c. green peppers
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of tomato soup
- 1 soup can water
- 1 c. sharp cheese, shredded
- 1 (7 oz.) pkg. spaghetti
- Brown together ground meat, peppers and onions in shortening, stirring occasionally.
- Drain fat.
- Add soups and water; simmer until onions and peppers are tender, about 10 minutes.
- Blend in 1/2 cup cheese.
- Cook spaghetti according to directions on package; drain.
- Place half of spaghetti in buttered 3-quart casserole dish.
- Top with half of meat mixture.
- Repeat spaghetti and meat layers; top with remaining cheese.
- Bake at 350u0b0 about 30 minutes or until cheese is melted.
