Chex Party Mix
- 2 c. Cheerios
- 2 c. Wheat Chex
- 2 c. Rice Chex
- 2 c. Corn Chex
- 1 c. peanuts
- 2 c. pretzel sticks
- 1 c. cheese "Tid-Bits" or Cheez-Its
- 1 stick margarine or butter
- approximately 2 to 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- Beau Monde or seasoning salt
- Melt 1 stick of butter or margarine on a cookie sheet at 350u0b0. While this is melting, mix in large bowl each cereal, peanuts, pretzels and cheese crackers.
- When margarine is melted, remove from oven.
- Add Worcestershire sauce to melted shortening and stir together.
- Add contents of dry mixture to cover liquid.
- Mix together so that all the dry ingredients become coated.
- Sprinkle with the seasoning salt and mix again.
- Heat in oven approximately 20 minutes.
- Allow to cool before serving.
- Repeat steps until all dry ingredients are used.
- Use more or less of each ingredient, according to likes or dislikes.
