Monster Cookies

• 1/2 c. oleo, softened
• 1 c. sugar
• 1 c. + 2 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1/2 c. applesauce
• 2 c. peanut butter
• 1 tsp. vanilla extract
• 3/4 tsp. light corn syrup
• 4 1/2 c. regular oats (uncooked)
• 2 tsp. baking soda
• 2 c. whole wheat flour
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1 c. M&M's
• 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

1. Cream oleo; gradually add sugar, beating well.
2. Add eggs, peanut butter, vanilla, corn syrup and applesauce; beat well.
3. Add oats, soda, salt and flour, mixing well.
4. Stir in remaining ingredients.
5. Chill dough.
6. Drop by 1/4 cup, 4 inches apart, onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
7. Bake at 350u0b0 for 12 to 15 minutes. (Center will be soft).
8. Cool slightly on cookie sheet.
9. Remove to wire rack and cool completely.
