Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies

  1. In large bowl, beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla.
  3. Combine flour, oats, baking soda and salt; add alternately with water to creamed mixture.
  4. Stir in butterscotch morsels and nuts.
  5. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake in a preheated 375u0b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes until edges are lightly browned.
  7. Yield:
