  1. Preheat oven to 325u0b0F.
  2. In mixing bowl, cream butter and margarine.
  3. Add sugars, vanilla, and oil.
  4. Beat until smooth.
  5. Add egg and beat again until smooth.
  6. Add flour, salt, baking soda, and cream of tartar.
  7. Add nuts, oats, coconut, and Rice Krispies.
  8. Fold in until well blended.
  9. Cover bowl with waxed paper and refrigerate for an hour.
  10. Dough will be stiff enough to handle.
  11. Spray cookie sheets lightly.
  12. Pinch off a small piece about the size of a marble and flatten with your fingers (a regular sized cookie sheet should hold 24).
  13. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
  14. After removing from the oven, leave on the cookie sheets for a few minutes, then cool on racks.
