Baked Brie

  1. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in heavy medium skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic and saute until onion is golden brown, about 10 minutes.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Place Brie and cream cheese in large microwave-safe bowl.
  5. Microwave on Medium just until melted, about 2 minutes.
  6. Whisk in onion mixture, sour cream, fresh lemon juice, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce.
  7. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  8. Cut off top of bread loaf.
  9. Scoop out center of loaf, leaving a 3/4-inch thick shell of bread.
  10. Spoon cheese mixture into loaf.
  11. (Can be prepared 1 day ahead; refrigerate. Let stand 2 hours at room temperature before continuing.)
  12. Wrap in foil.
  13. Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
  14. Bake loaf until filling bubbles, about 1 hour.
  15. Unwrap and place on platter.
  16. Remove bread lid. Sprinkle cheese mixture with paprika.
  17. Serve with crudites or crackers.
