Classic Lasagne
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 lb. roll sausage
- 2 chopped onions
- 1 can tomatoes
- 3 cans tomato paste
- 3 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 pkg. lasagne noodles
- 12 to 16 oz. Mozzarella cheese
- 2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- Brown meat; add tomatoes, tomato paste, water, salt, parsley, garlic, Italian seasoning, pepper and oregano.
- Simmer uncovered about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cook noodles while preparing sauce.
- In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish, spread 1 cup sauce.
- Then alternate layers of noodles, sauce, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, ending with sauce, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in preheated oven at 350u0b0 for approximately 45 minutes.
- Allow to stand for 5 minutes.
