Orange Cranberry Trifle
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. pure orange extract
- 2 c. Cool Whip
- 1 c. whole cranberry sauce
- 1 small loaf (10 - 12 oz.) pound cake, thinly sliced
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Sliced almonds
- Cinnamon
- Mix cream cheese, sugar, cinnamon and 1/2 tsp. orange extract.
- Mix till smooth.
- Gently stir in Cool Whip and cranberry sauce.
- Set aside.
- Using an 8 inch square pan, arrange 1/3 of cake slices on bottom of pan.
- Mix together milk, vanilla and 1/2 tsp. orange extract. Drizzle approximately 2 Tbsp. of milk mixture over cake slices.
- Spread 1/3 of cream cheese over cake slices. Repeat for second and third layers.
- You will end up with cream mix on top.
- Top with slices of almonds and cinnamon.
