Chicken Normandy
- 1 pkg. seasoned bread stuffing
- 1 stick melted margarine
- 1 c. water
- 2 1/2 c. cooked, diced chicken
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped green onion tops
- ??? c. mayonnaise
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. cream of mushroom soup
- 4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
- Mix stuffing, margarine and water lightly.
- Put half in buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Mix chicken, onions, mayonnaise and salt.
- Put in the pan over bread mixture.
- Top with remaining bread mixture.
- Beat 2 eggs slightly and add 1 1/2
- cups milk. Pour evenly over bread mixture.
- Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
- Take out 1 hour before baking.
- Spread 1 can mushroom soup over top.
- Bake, uncovered, at 325u0b0 for 40 minutes.
- Sprinkle grated Cheddar cheese on top.
- Return to oven for 10 minutes.
