Triple Good Bar
- 2 c. raisins
- 1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
- 1 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. (2 sticks) margarine or butter
- 1 1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. uncooked oatmeal
- 1 c. flour
- Heat oven to
- 325u0b0.
- Grease
- at3 x 9-inch baking pan. In saucepan, combine
- the
- first
- 4
- ingredients.
- Cook
- over medium heat, stirring
- constantly,
- untiltix begins to boil. Set aside. Beat
- margarine,
- sugar
- and vanilla until fluffy. Add remaining ingredients
- and
- blend.
- Press
- all
- but 2 cups into a greased pan, then cover with raisin mixture.
- Sprinkle with remaining oat mixture.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Cool and cut into 1 x 2-inch bars.
- Yields 4 dozen.
