Skillet Barbecued Burgers

  1. Combine ground beef, egg, salt, pepper and 1/2 can tomato sauce.
  2. Form into six patties.
  3. Press one onion slice in each. Heat Wesson oil in skillet and brown onion side of patties.
  4. Pour off excess fat.
  5. Turn patties and lemon slices, celery and remaining seasonings.
  6. Pour on remaining 1 1/2 cans tomato sauce. Simmer, covered, for 15 minutes or until done.
  7. Baste patties occasionally.
  8. Serves 6.
