Cinnamon Raisin Biscuits

  1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a bowl; cut in margarine with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
  2. Add raisins; toss well.
  3. Add 3/4 cup milk; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened.
  4. Turn dough out onto a heavily floured surface; knead dough 4 or 5 times.
  5. Roll dough to a 1/2-inch thickness; cut with a 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter.
  6. Place on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake at 450u0b0 for 11 minutes, or until golden.
  8. Combine powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon milk; stir well.
  9. Drizzle over biscuits.
  10. Yields 1 dozen.
