Bride'S Dinner(Pork Chops)
- 5 slices day old bread, cubed
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. grated onion
- 1/8 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 4 pork chops (1 inch thick)
- 4 apples (medium)
- 1/4 c. seedless raisins
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 4 medium sweet potatoes, pared
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- salt and pepper
- Combine bread cubes, egg, butter, seasonings and onion.
- Shape into four balls.
- Place chops in shallow baking pan.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place one ball of stuffing on each chop. Core apples.
- Set in pan with chops.
- Combine raisins, sugar and cinnamon.
- Fill centers of apples.
- Roll sweet potatoes in melted butter.
- Place in pan with chops and apples.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Bake 1 1/2 hours in 350u0b0 oven.
- Serves 4.
