Sunday Morning Quiche
- 8 large eggs
- 4 to 6 oz. softened cream cheese
- 2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 Tbsp. chopped chives
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. oregano leaves
- dash of pepper
- 1/2 lb. savory sage sausage, browned and set aside
- 3 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 3 oz. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/4 fresh red pepper, in very thin slices
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- In a large bowl, with mixer at low speed, beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Add eggs and next 6 ingredients.
- Add cheeses and sausage; fold together.
- Pour into ungreased quiche dish and arrange red pepper into pretty design. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until a knife, inserted in center, comes out clean.
