Inside Out Ravioli
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced or garlic powder or garlic salt
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shell macaroni, cooked
- 1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
- 2 well beaten eggs
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- Brown first 3 ingredients in oil.
- Cook spinach according to package directions.
- Drain spinach and set aside.
- Reserve liquid. Add water to make 1 cup.
- Stir spinach liquid and next 5 ingredients into meat mixture.
- Simmer 10 minutes.
- Combine spinach with remaining ingredients.
- Spread in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Top with meat sauce and little more shredded cheese, if desired. Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- Serves 6 to 8.
