Chicken Biskette Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 475u0b0.
  2. Cook onion in 2 tablespoons butter. Add water (or soy sauce), chicken broth, 1/4 cup flour, salt, pepper and garlic.
  3. Cook approximately 3 minutes, until thickened. Add frozen vegetables and chicken.
  4. Pour into 2-quart casserole dish.
  5. Combine remaining flour, oatmeal and baking powder.
  6. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  7. Stir in milk and egg white until moist. Drop by tablespoon onto top of chicken mixture.
  8. Bake 30 to 45 minutes until golden.
