Dad'S Favorite Fudge Pudding

• 1 c. sifted flour
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 3/4 c. sugar
• 2 tsp. baking powder
• 1 1/2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
• 1 tsp. vanilla extract
• 1/2 c. milk
• 2 Tbsp. melted butter
• 1/2 c. chopped pecans
• 1/2 c. sugar
• 1/2 c. brown sugar
• 4 Tbsp. cocoa
• 1 c. very hot water

1. Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
2. Sift together the flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and 1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa.
3. Combine vanilla, milk and butter and stir into dry ingredients.
4. Fold in pecans.
5. Pour into a greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
6. Combine white and brown sugars with 4 tablespoons cocoa.
7. Mix with hot water, stirring to dissolve.
8. Pour over the batter in the pan.
9. Bake 45 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
