Austin'S Favorite Devil Dog Cake

• 1 (18 ounce) box duncan hines devil's food cake mix
• 3 large eggs
• 1 1/2 cups water
• 1/3 cup oil
• Icing
• 1 cup milk
• 4 tablespoons flour
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1/2 cup Crisco
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

1. Bake cake to package directions and cool.
2. Mix milk and flour in small saucepan and cook until thick. Take off stove to cool.
3. Beat together softened butter and crisco for 4 minutes.
4. Add sugar to butter mixture a bit at a time and beat for another 4 minutes.
5. Add cooled milk and flour mixture a little at a time to mixture and beat for another 4 minutes.
6. Add vanilla and almond extract and beat until blended.
7. Frost cake.
