Surprise Meatballs

  1. Heat oven to 450u0b0.
  2. Mix together meat, cheeses, onion, egg replacer or egg white, oats and seasonings.
  3. Form into 18 meatballs.
  4. Place in a nonstick roasting tin and cook 20 minutes. Mix stock, tomato puree, sherry and corn flour.
  5. Simmer until thickened.
  6. Drain excess fat from meat and pour tomato sauce over. Reset the temperature to 350u0b0 and cook for 30 minutes.
  7. Serve with hot rice.
  8. Makes 48 meatballs; each contains 31 calories, 0.5 g fat, 4 mg chol, 41 mg sodium.
