Cranberry Ribs

  1. Place ribs in a dutch oven with enough water to cover.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat; cover and simmer 30 minute.
  3. In a heavy saucepan, stir and cook cranberries, water and granulated sugar over medium heat until cranberries pop, about 5 minutes.
  4. Place a sieve over a bowl.
  5. Pour cranberry mixture through sieve, pressing with back of a spoon until no pulp is left; pour back into saucepan.
  6. Add remaining ingredients except ribs to saucepan.
  7. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer, stirring often, until thickened, about 20 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 350u0b0F.
  9. Drain ribs; cut into individual portions.
  10. Place in a shallow baking dish.
  11. Pour sauce over ribs.
  12. Bake until tender, about 35-40 minutes.
