Company Salad

  1. Dissolve gelatin in hot water.
  2. Cool.
  3. Add pineapple, bananas and marshmallows.
  4. Chill in 9 x 13-inch dish until firm.
  5. Heat pineapple juice in double boiler.
  6. Add flour and sugar to beaten egg.
  7. Mix with juice and cook until thick, stirring constantly. Cool.
  8. Fold in whipped cream.
  9. Spread over gelatin.
  10. Shred Cheddar cheese generously over all.
  11. Nuts may be added.
