Peanut Butter Bit Brownies

  1. Heat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Grease 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  3. In large microwave-safe bowl, combine butter and peanut butter. Microwave at High (100%) 2 to 2 1/2 minutes or until butter is melted and mixture is smooth when stirred.
  4. Stir in sugar and vanilla.
  5. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well with wooden spoon after each addition.
  6. Add cocoa, beat until well blended.
  7. Add flour, baking powder and salt; beat well.
  8. Spread batter into prepared pan.
  9. Bake 10 minutes.
  10. Sprinkle baking bits over surface. Bake additional 20 to 25 minutes or until brownies just begin to pull away from sides of pan.
  11. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
  12. Makes about 36 brownies.
