Cabbage Rolls With Beef

  1. Place cabbage head into pot of boiling water.
  2. Turn off heat and let
  3. cabbage
  4. stand
  5. in hot water about 10 minutes to soften. Mix the
  6. cooked
  7. rice,
  8. one chopped onion, 1 teaspoon salt, pepper,
  9. ground
  10. beef
  11. and egg.
  12. Drain
  13. cabbage
  14. leaves. Spoon mound of rice mixture into center of leaf, tuck in sides and fold ends
  15. overtecurely.
  16. Place stuffed cabbage leaves, seam side down
  17. in glass dish.
  18. Add tomatoes, onions, bouillon and 1 teaspoon
  19. salt.
  20. Place
  21. int25u0b0 oven for one hour, covered. Remove cover, add lemon juice and brown sugar; continue cooking, uncovered, 30 minutes longer.
