Pavlova(Heritage: Australia)

  1. Preheat oven to 300u0b0.
  2. Grease an 8-inch round cake pan.
  3. Cover bottom with circle of wax paper.
  4. Grease paper and dust lightly with cornstarch.
  5. Beat the egg whites in a large bowl until foamy. Add the salt.
  6. Beat until stiff.
  7. Gradually add the sugar, beating well after each addition.
  8. When whites are glossy, combine 2 teaspoons cornstarch with the vinegar and fold into whites.
  9. Spoon mixture into cake pan and smooth it towards edges.
  10. Hollow out center slightly.
  11. Place pan in oven and reduce temperature to 250u0b0. Bake for 1 1/4 hours.
  12. Remove.
  13. Let cool.
  14. Remove and place it on a serving dish.
  15. Drain all fruit and spoon on top.
  16. Cover with whipped cream and serve.
