Quick Baked Pasta
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
- 3/4 c. red spaghetti sauce
- 3/4 c. brown gravy (homemade beef or brown gravy in pkg.)
- 1/2 c. half and half
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 tsp. whole oregano
- 3/4 lb. short small pasta
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 c. Mozzarella or Swiss cheese (for topping)
- Bring 4 quarts water to boil.
- Heat a large frying pan.
- Add oil, beef and garlic.
- Saute until meat is tender; drain off fat. Ad spaghetti sauce, gravy, half and half, Parmesan cheese, oregano, salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer mixture while pasta cooks tender.
- Drain pasta and mix with sauce.
- Pour all into 3-quart (9 x 13-inch) dish and top with Mozzarella.
- Bake, uncovered, 25 minutes at 350u0b0; bake until all is bubbly hot.
