Shortcut Lasagna
- 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 1 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can whole tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 3 envelopes dehydrated spaghetti sauce mix
- 1 (24 oz.) can V-8 juice
- oregano
- 1 lb. lasagna noodles
- 1 (24 oz.) carton cottage cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese or more
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- Brown
- meat,
- breakingtp
- with wooden spoon.ttir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, spaghetti sauce mix, V-8 juice and oregano.tring to a boil;
- lower heat and simmer 10 minutes.
- Cover
- bottom
- of
- oiled,
- large pan with a layer of meat sauce.
- Add
- a
- layer of uncooked noodles, cottage cheese and Mozzarella.
- Repeat
- the layers until all ingredients are used, ending
- with
- the
- meat
- sauce.
- Cover
- pan tightly with heavy-duty foil.
- Set on a large cookie sheet and bake at 350u0b0 for 1
- hour.
- Remove
- from
- oven and let stand for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Cut into squares to serve.
