Chocolate Pecan Pie

  1. Preheat
  2. oven to 350u0b0.
  3. In medium saucepan, melt chocolate and butter;
  4. cool slightly.
  5. In medium bowl, with rotary beater, combine
  6. eggs,
  7. corn
  8. syrup,
  9. brown
  10. sugar, molasses, bourbon and salt.
  11. Beat
  12. until
  13. well mixed; stir in chocolate mixture
  14. and chopped
  15. pecans.
  16. Pour
  17. into prepared pie shell. Arrange pecan halves on top of pie.
  18. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until filling
  19. is set
  20. in
  21. center
  22. when pie is shaken gently. Cool completely on wire rack, about three hours.
  23. Garnish with whipped cream and additional
  24. pecan halves, if desired.
  25. Makes 10 servings.
