Cornish Hens

  1. Place hens, breast side down in a heavy plastic bag.
  2. Mix marinade and pour over hens.
  3. Seal and marinate 8 hours in refrigerator, turning occasionally.
  4. Remove hens from marinade. Bring marinade to a boil and set aside.
  5. Place hens breast side up in a lightly greased 13 x 9 pan.
  6. Bake uncovered at 450u0b0 for 15 minutes, then lower temperature to 400u0b0 for 1 hour or until golden brown and tender.
  7. Baste with marinade or butter every 15 minutes.
