Sour Cream Cake Coffee Cake
- 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 4 tsp. cinnamon
- walnuts
- Cream together the butter/margarine, sugar and egg; then add the sour cream and almond extract.
- In another bowl, mix thoroughly together the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Mix wet and dry ingredients on medium speed until heavy and dough like.
- Mix topping mixture together in a separate bowl.
- Pour half of mixture in pan, then pour half of the topping over that half. Then pour the rest of the mixture and then the topping.
- Put in a preheated 350u0b0 oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
- Let cool in pan for about 5 minutes before serving.
