Slow Cooked Lemon Chicken Breasts
- 6 boneless skinless Chicken Breasts
- 1 tsp. Oregano
- 1/2 tsp. Seasoned Salt
- 1/4 tsp. Pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Butter
- 1/4 c. Water
- 3 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
- 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 1 tsp. Chicken Bouillon Granules
- 2 tsp. Parsley
- hot cooked Rice or Orzo Noodles
- Rinse Chicken and pat dry.
- Combine Oregano, Seasoned Salt and Pepper.
- Rub over Chicken.
- In a skillet, brown Chicken in Butter; transfer to a slow cooker.
- Add Water, Lemon Juice, Garlic and Bouillon to skillet, bring to a boil to loosen browned bits.
- Pour over Chicken in slow cooker.
- Add Parsley, cover and cook for 4 hours or until chicken is cooked through.
- Juice may be thickened if desired and poured over Chicken and Noodles.
- Yields:
- 6 servings.
