Sweet Rolls
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 yeast pack
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 6 c. flour
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. confectioners sugar
- 1/4 c. hot water
- Rinse your bowl with hot water before putting warm water and yeast in it.
- In another bowl mix hot milk, water, 2 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons sugar and salt.
- When it is lukewarm, add to dissolved yeast mix.
- Stir thoroughly.
- Add 3 cups flour and stir. Add 2 1/2 to 3 cups more flour and knead on floured board for a few minutes.
- Let rise in covered bowl until doubles in bulk.
- Remove dough to floured surface.
- Divide into 4 parts.
