Saucy Meatballs

  1. Combine first five ingredients.
  2. Shape into 20 meatballs using a rounded tablespoonful for each.
  3. Brown well in shortening. Drain excess fat.
  4. Sprinkle flour over meatballs; stir gently to coat meatballs.
  5. Combine tomatoes, 57 Sauce, sugar and salt; pour over meatballs.
  6. Simmer, uncovered, 25 minutes or until sauce is desired consistency, stirring occasionally.
  7. Serve meatballs and sauce over noodles.
  8. Makes 5 servings (about 3 cups sauce).
