Peanut Chocolate Dessert
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 c. flour
- 2/3 c. finely chopped nuts (dry roasted peanuts)
- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 c. peanut butter
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 12 oz. Cool Whip
- 3 3/4 oz. vanilla instant pudding
- 4 1/2 oz. chocolate instant pudding
- 2 3/4 c. milk
- Hershey chocolate bar, shaved
- Cut butter into flour until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir peanuts into flour mixture.
- Press into 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 20 minutes.
- Cool completely.
- Combine cream cheese, peanut butter and powdered sugar.
- Spread over crust and chill.
- Combine puddings and milk, beating 2 minutes at medium speed.
- Spread over cream cheese layer.
- Spread Cool Whip over pudding.
- Sprinkle with shaved chocolate bar and chopped peanuts. Refrigerate.
