Spanish Rice

  1. Cut and wash mushrooms; set aside.
  2. Mash both meats in pan over high heat; pour off enough drippings in another pan to lightly brown rice.
  3. Then add to meat the onions, pepper and garlic.
  4. Cook, stirring, until onions are clear; add tomatoes, chili powder, mushrooms, salt and pepper.
  5. Add rice to meat mixture.
  6. Pour in a 2-quart casserole dish.
  7. Bake at 350u0b0 until rice is tender, about 30 to 40 minutes.
