Baked Lasagna
- 1 lb. hamburg
- 1/2 diced onion
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 tsp. dried sweet basil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 to 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 cans stewed or diced tomatoes
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 (12 oz.) cottage cheese or Ricotta cheese
- 1 (2 1/2 oz.) Parmesan cheese
- 1 (12 oz.) Mozzarella cheese
- Brown hamburg, onion and garlic.
- Add parsley, basil, salt, pepper, tomatoes and paste.
- Stir; cover and simmer for 1 hour. Meanwhile, cook noodles in salt water and vegetable oil for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Rinse and cool; separate.
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0. Repeat layers in this order:
- noodles, cottage or Ricotta cheese, Mozzarella cheese, meat sauce and Parmesan cheese, ending with meat sauce.
- Repeat 2 or 3 times.
- Bake for 40 minutes.
