Mexican Trainwreck
- 3 lb. ground chuck
- 3 diced onions
- 4 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 2 tsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 c. water
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 2 (15 oz.) cans pinto beans
- corn chips
- rice
- diced onions
- chopped olives
- picante sauce
- grated cheese
- diced tomatoes
- mushrooms
- shredded lettuce
- sour cream
- Brown together meat and onions.
- Drain off fat.
- Add spices; stir in liquids.
- Cook on low heat for 1 hour or in crock-pot until ready to serve.
- Let each person put his own trainwreck together in somewhat the following order:
- A layer of corn chips, rice, meat sauce, cheese, etc. with the following condiments:
ground chuck, onions, chili powder, tomato paste, tomato sauce, salt, sugar, water, oregano, pinto beans, corn chips, rice, onions, olives, picante sauce, grated cheese, tomatoes, mushrooms, shredded lettuce, sour cream
