Two Tone Fudge

  1. Combine brown sugar, granulated sugar and butter in a large, heavy saucepan.
  2. Bring to a full boil over moderate heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat; add vanilla and Marshmallow Creme. Stir until it has melted and mixture is smooth.
  5. Into 2 cups of hot mixture, add butterscotch morsels and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts. Stir until morsels are melted and mixture is smooth.
  6. Spread evenly into a buttered 9-inch square pan.
  7. To remaining mixture, add chocolate morsels and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts.
  8. Stir until morsels are melted and mixture is smooth.
  9. Spread evenly over butterscotch mixture.
  10. Chill.
  11. Cut into squares.
  12. Makes 2 1/2 pounds.
