Texas Punch Bowl Cake(Yields 22 Servings)
- 2 qt. fresh strawberries, sliced
- 5 bananas, sliced
- 1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple and juice
- 2 (6 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding
- 1 box yellow cake mix (2 layer)
- 1 (12 oz.) carton whipped topping
- 1 (3 1/2 oz.) can coconut
- Prepare cake mix according to the directions.
- Slice strawberries and bananas.
- Prepare instant pudding as directed on package.
- Layer in punch bowl as follows:
- put half of strawberries in bowl and a layer of cake.
- Punch holes in layer of cake.
- Add half the bananas and half the pudding.
- Put layer of cake.
- Add all the pineapple and juice, half the strawberries, half the bananas and the balance of pudding.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Top with whipped topping, coconut and pecans.
