Favorite Christmas Cake

  1. Cream together butter and sugar.
  2. Beat in egg yolks.
  3. Add dry ingredients, flour, salt and baking powder alternately with 1/2 cup whiskey.
  4. Stir in white raisins and nuts.
  5. Fold in beaten egg whites.
  6. Turn into well-greased and sugared Bundt or angel food pan.
  7. Bake in preheated 300u0b0 oven for approximately 2 hours.
  8. Cool, remove from pan.
  9. Wrap cake in cheesecloth wet with additional whiskey.
  10. Wrap in foil and store in tin, tightly covered.
  11. Aging makes it better!
