Taco Soup

  1. Saut onions in oil.
  2. Add ground beef, stirring until browned. Drain off excess grease.
  3. Transfer ground beef and onion mixture to a large stockpot.
  4. Stir in taco seasoning and Ranch dressing mix. Add tomatoes, both beans, corn and salt.
  5. Bring mixture to a slow boil.
  6. After mixture begins cooking, reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours, stirring often.
  7. Garnish with shredded cheese and sour cream.
