Cheese And Pasta Wedges
- 4 oz. spaghetti
- 3 Tbsp. sliced green onion
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp. snipped parsley
- 1/4 tsp. thyme, crushed
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 c. cream-style cottage cheese
- 1/4 c. fine bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 Tbsp. sliced green onion
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain, rinse in cold water, drain.
- For sauce, cook 3 tablespoon green onion in 1 tablespoon butter or margarine until tender but not brown.
- Stir in tomato sauce, parsley and 1/4 teaspoon thyme. Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
- Cover and simmer about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
