Oriental Salad
- 1 pkg. Ramen chicken flavored noodle soup
- 2 Tbsp. sesame seeds
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 4 c. finely shredded cabbage (not grated)
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 3 Tbsp. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. broccoli flowerets
- 2 chicken breasts
- soy sauce
- Marinate chicken in soy sauce.
- Cook in microwave.
- Cool and cut into bite-size pieces.
- In a large bowl, break apart noodles; set aside flavor packet.
- Place sesame seeds and almonds on cookie sheet; toast in 350u0b0 oven for 5 minutes.
- Let cool, then add to noodles.
- Add cabbage, onions and broccoli; toss.
- In small bowl, combine flavor packet, oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.
- Mix and pour over noodles.
- Add chicken and mix.
- Marinate overnight or several hours.
